Barrine 360 Retreat’s elevated position affords a magnificent 360 degree vista of rolling farmland hills, the Gadgarra National Park forest and distant mountain ranges. Sleep in the clouds on the edge of the world in winter, and when the mist parts, enjoy glorious views of rolling hills and lush green farmland extending to Mt Bartle Frere and beyond.
Our villa is an open-plan, light-filled space with generous kitchen facilities, dining and lounge areas, a separate bathroom, laundry and a private reading or office space. Guests can enjoy all the romance of a cosy fireplace inside or outside drinks on an expansive timber deck featuring a relaxing hot tub.

“We’ve been to a few air bnbs over the years and this is easily the best that we have stayed at.
Kim was a wonderful host that greeted us on arrival and was willing to go the extra mile.
The location is truly amazing, it is at the top of a hill and looks out to the surrounding countryside. If you’re lucky you can even look out to Mt Bartle Frere.
Being in the mountains you have to expect some weather and we had one sunny day and the second was foggy but it adds to the experience.
The sound of birds is great to wake up to as it is next to the national park. The cows are also friendly and love to say hi.
The indoor and outdoor fires are great to relax to, especially watching the sunset. Kim even had the wood setup so all we had to do is light it up.
We would love to come back, definitely recommend.”
